This work is a poster announcing the Fairs and Festival programs of the Gran Feria de Nuestra Señora de la Salud that was celebrated from 25th of May to the 1st of June 1916 in Córdoba. The poster came along with the program informing about the lightings, bullfights, parties, fireworks, music concerts, dances, theaters, circuses and other shows as well as a special train service. The program was signed by the mayor, Salvador Muñoz Pérez, and the Secretary, Manuel Varo Repiso.
This poster follows the aesthetic lines of those done by the artist between 1912 and 1913, although this one is horizontal.
In the poster shows two women one that symbolize the urban life, (the woman on the left) and the country life (the woman on the right). In the background appears the outline of the city reflected in the waters of the Guadalquivir river. The woman on the left is wearing a embroidered dress with a red flower at his waist. She is covering her shoulders with a mantilla. The first woman is turned to the other as if she were trying to talk with her. The woman on the right is wearing the popular clothing of that time. She seems to ignore the other woman. Next to her there are a sickle and a basket with flowers and fruit, symbols of her social condition.
