This painting is a posthumous tribute to the famous cantaora “La Trini” made by Julio Romero de Torres. This full-frontal nudity is related to the subjects of flamenco and copla. In this theatrical composition, a courtain is drawn and it appears a feminine nude in a perfect harmony. She lies on a divan upholstered with a dark Manila shawl. The contrast with the white satin remarks the model bronzed tone. Her right arm is resting on her hips, whereas a razor hedge —symbol of death— is shining in her hand. The rich earrings and the coral necklace are the only accessories she is wearing.

Behind, in the shadows, a dark-haired woman seated at the edge of the divan is holding a guitar, and she is going towards the nude woman. In the background appears the Tower of the Calahorra illuminated by the last lights of dusk, the riverside and a Roman Bridge with a river flowing down easy through an imaginary bed.

Romero de Torres shows in this painting the full-nude lying down, as he did it several times during his painting career.
